Strengths: Height

Statline: Ainge had 3,522 yards and 31 scores as a senior.

Technique:

Ainge is a pocket passer who lacks a big arm.

Known Injuries:

Suffered injuries to his shoulder, ankle and knee during his college days.

Combine / Workout Assessment: Coming Soon

Analysis: Ainge certainly looks the part of a NFL quarterback, but his inability to consistency produce at Tennessee raises questions about how he’ll handle professional defenses. Combine that concern with a lengthy injury history and you see why scouts are sheepish about Erik. But considering he’ll be available in the middle rounds, he is worth the risk to a team looking to quickly groom a young backup.
