Strengths: Football instincts, size
Weaknesses: Lacks elite speed and athleticism

Statline: In 44 games at LSU, recorded 11 interceptions, 14 passes defended, and 184 tackles.

Technique: Decent ball skills and willing special teamer who can provide depth to an NFL secondary.

Known Injuries: Left the BCS Championship game with a shoulder injury; was unable to participate in the Senior Bowl or Combine because of the injury. Played just four games as true freshman because of a broken right thumb.

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: Steltz uses instincts and positioning to make plays, but he may not be athletic enough to match up with NFL caliber receivers. He’ll contribute on special teams, and once he learns the nuances of the pro game he may once again be able to use his football instincts to compensate against better athletes.
