Statline: In 44 games at Kent State, recorded 13 interceptions, 25 passes defended, and 245 tackles. 

Technique: Undersized but ideal for covering slot receivers as a nickel corner; also has the potential to be a starting corner in a Cover-2 scheme. 

Known Injuries: Missed one game as a senior with a shoulder injury suffered while making a tackle. Also played through ankle injuries (including ligament damage in both ankles) throughout his senior year.

Analysis: Williams’ senior season was hampered by problems with both ankles, and while there is certainly a question about his ability to withstand the rigors of the pro game he also possesses the athleticism and instincts to be a solid contributor. He has some kick return skills as well.
