Analysis: When scouts look at Giacomini they see a work in progress. He has the size and frame to be an NFL lineman but lacks the athleticism and only started one year at Louisville after splitting time between tight end and tackle his first three seasons. There are also some character and maturity questions, but if a team drafts Giacomini they’re not looking for him to start immediately; he’s a long-range prospect.
