Strengths: Size, athleticism
Weaknesses: Inconsistent technique, durability questions

Statline: Allowed just one sack and three pressures through first 11 games of senior season at Texas before breaking his left leg.

Technique: Excellent pass blocker with outstanding frame, room to add bulk, and good footwork; needs to work on technique and consistency.

Known Injuries: Fractured left fibula and missed final two games of senior season, plus postseason all star games and Combine; had reconstructive surgery on his left knee during his senior year of high school, 2002; was a medical redshirt in 2003. The injury, which included nerve damage, was thought at the time to be possibly career-ending.

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: Hills certainly has the size to be an NFL tackle, but after suffering a broken leg late in his senior year he’ll need to convince pro teams he isn’t damaged goods. With a frame that could easily accommodate another 20 pounds and a solid work ethic (as evidenced by his rehab from what doctors thought was a career-ending injury in high school), if Hills can stay healthy he could certainly pick up the technique necessary to make him a successful pro.
