![]() Weaknesses: Dramatically undersized as an NFL defensive end; inexperienced as a linebacker Statline: Recorded 24.5 sacks and 33 tackles for loss in his final two seasons at UCLA. Finished his college career with 137 tackles (42.5 for loss) and 29 sacks in 50 games. Technique: Undersized speed rusher who will need to move to linebacker to succeed at the next level. Known Injuries: Underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus prior to his sophomore season but did not miss any games. Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON Analysis: Davis has the speed and motor to get after the passer, but he’s too small to play defensive end in the NFL. He also lacks the top-end speed to run down plays from an outside linebacker position and doesn’t have any pass rush moves outside of his speed. As such, his best pro position may be inside linebacker. He’ll need to find the right system to maximize his NFL potential, but he has the athleticism, quickness, and motor to succeed if presented the right opportunity. |
