Strengths: Height, Character Technique
Weaknesses: Height, Character

Statline: Tribble had 35 tackles and four interceptions last season.

Technique:

Tribble is a playmaker who will gamble on interceptions, meaning he can be burned for big plays.

Known Injuries:

Underwent arthroscopic knee surgery following the 2006 season and missed three games in 2007 with a sprained MCL.

Combine / Workout Assessment: Coming soon.

Analysis: Tribble lacks the height or speed of the top cornerback prospects, but he still projects to be a mid-round option who could be groomed into a future starter. There are two paramount concerns about DeJaun, height and character, both of which could cause him to plummet on draft boards. Tribble’s character concerns stem from incidents in 2005 and 2007, so he will have some explaining to do if he wants to convince teams he has matured. Of course, there isn’t much he can do to convince teams that his lack of height won’t cause problems in the pros, and his injury history doesn’t help matters, either.
