Analysis: Rice exploded onto the national scene in 2006 as the face of the resurgent Rutgers program and put together another strong season in 2007. While he was incredibly productive as a college player, his professional outlook in more bleak because he lacks the size teams are looking for in a feature back. Luckily for him, Ray is a solid pass catcher out of the backfield, and he should transition nicely into the role of a change-of-pace back. Rice looks like an early Day 2 pick.
