![]() Weaknesses: Strength Statline: Keller caught 68 passes for 881 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Technique: Keller is a classic pass-catching tight end who can find soft spots in zones and beat teams down the middle. Known Injuries: Broke his hand in 2006 and had shoulder surgery after the season. Combine / Workout Assessment: Analysis: The post-season scouting process has been kind to Keller, who some consider the top tight end in this year’s class. Of course, it is important to note that most experts don’t see a tight end going in the first round this April, but we’re not here just to rain on Dustin’s parade. Cut out of the Chris Cooley mold, Keller will be utilized primarily as a pass catcher by the team which drafts him. His downfield speed makes him a beast to defend with man-to-man coverage. He is an average blocker for a man his size, but it is not his bread and butter. |
