Strengths: Quickness
Weaknesses: Lower body

Statline: Sims had 37 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2007.

Technique: Sims uses his quickness to shoot the gaps.

Known Injuries: None

Analysis: Sims will get off the ball quick, but he lacks the physical tools of the higher ranked defensive tackles, especially in the lower half of his body.  Pat started making a name for himself among scouts with a solid junior season at Auburn and then declared for the draft. He’s seen as a future one-gap tackle in the pros. Although the lack of a lengthy college track record will make some teams a bit gun-shy about picking him on the first day, there is enough talent in his bones to entice a franchise in need of a defensive lineman to roll the dice on him.
