Strengths: Athleticism, quickness, versatility
Weaknesses: Inexperience at position, needs to get stronger

Statline: Started all 12 games and helped UTEP running game nearly triple its output to 147 rushing yards per game.

Technique: Raw, but quick feet and athleticism allow him to hit a moving target and reach defenders at the second level.

Known Injuries: None

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: If Cousins were a couple inches taller he’d be a top-10 pick, as he has just about everything else the NFL desires in a left tackle: long arms, quick feet, and athleticism. He’s a bit undersized to fit the mauler role most teams envision for their right tackle, and if he gets stronger he could still be a solid left tackle despite being “only” 6-4. Cousins started as a defensive tackle at UTEP before switching to the offensive side of the line, and he played left tackle as a junior before sliding down the line to right tackle for his senior season. Once his new team settles on a position for him he has the skills to be a solid contributor.
