Strengths: Athleticism and footwork; good frame with long arms
Weaknesses: Plays high, lacks physicality

Statline: Allowed 8.5 sacks as a senior in his first season at left tackle after playing on the right side for the past two seasons.

Technique: Converted tight end has the athleticism and mobility to succeed in a zone blocking scheme, though his cut-blocking ability needs refinement.

Known Injuries: Suffered a broken left fibula in 2002 that prematurely ended his high school football career.

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: Brown possesses tremendous athleticism and the NFL makes a habit of rewarding men who have his size/speed combo platter with an early phone call on draft day. You can bet the house he’ll wind up on a team that values his mobility, but he requires work on his technique and needs to develop a mean streak as well. Brown has first-round athletic ability that has yet to fully manifest itself on the playing field; hence his third-round grade. Proper coaching and motivation could turn him into one of the steals of the draft… or he could be just another big and fast guy who never lives up to his full potential.
