Strengths: Speed, burst, and elusiveness
Weaknesses: Undersized; inconsistent collegiate production

Statline: Averaged nearly 23 yards per catch on 30 grabs during his senior season, scoring eight touchdowns. For his four-year career Jackson totaled 110 grabs for 1,846 yards and 14 touchdowns in 55 games.

Technique: Quick, fast, elusive, and diminutive; projects as a slot receiver and return specialist in the NFL

Known Injuries: Missed one game as a sophomore in 2005 due to a sprained left ankle.

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: The poster child for Appalachian State’s upset of Michigan this season, Jackson abused the Wolverines for two touchdowns including a 68-yarder. Any further questions about his ability to excel against top-level competition were answered by solid showings at both the Shrine Game and Senior Bowl. Jackson’s speed and open-field skills will certainly entice an NFL team to find a way to work him into their offense, but his most immediate  contributions are likely to come on special teams while he learns a pro offense after spending his collegiate career in the spread.
