![]() Weaknesses: Coverage Statline: Morgan led N.C. State with 97 tackles and added three interceptions. Technique: Morgan is best at providing support against the run like Roy Williams, not covering guys in the slot. Known Injuries: Missed 2004 due to injured hip. Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON Analysis: Morgan isn’t a blue-chip prospect because he doesn’t match up well with speedy receivers and lacks ideal height. However, in this year’s weak class he is going to be one of the first safeties off the board and may find an employer late on the first day of the draft. DaJuan would be best utilized as a run stopper who has a “centerfield”-type safety to provide a more balanced defensive backfield. Morgan can also contribute on special teams and will be doing more of that than anything else until he develops into a more complete player. |
