P: 7 O: 38
40: 4.37
225: NA
Shuttle: 4.11
3-Cone: 6.75
Vertical: NA

Strengths: Intelligence.
Weaknesses: Durability.

Statline: Caldwell had 56 catches for 761 yards and seven scores last season.

Technique:

Caldwell has the speed to separate from defenders and uses his smarts to find soft spots against zone defense.

Known Injuries:

Broken right femur in 2005. Sprained right MCL in 2007.

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: Caldwell certainly isn’t the sexist receiver in this year’s class, but he does a lot of things well and possesses excellent speed. He is also very football savvy, which will allow him to get on the field quicker than most rookies and endear him to the coaching staff. The fact Andre is a product of the University of Florida isn’t the only knock against him, though. Caldwell had a broken leg in 2005 and multiple injuries last season, so durability will be a major issue for any franchise looking to invest a draft pick in him. But even though he’s got some red flags surrounding him, Andre should hear his name called on the draft’s first day.

Recent News:
Caldwell became a Bengal with the 34th pick of Round 3.
Insight: He has shown plenty of speed and decent hands but was hampered by injuries in college. Caldwell could be ready to contribute on offense before the team's second-round receiver, Jerome Simpson of Coastal Carolina. (Matt Schauf/SportsBuff.com)
