Strengths: Versitility.
Weaknesses: Speed.

Statline: Castille had 63 tackles, two interceptions and 10 pass breakups last year.

Technique:

Simeon played cornerback in college, so he is experienced at covering receivers. However, his lack of speed may result in a position switch in the pros and prevent him from being able to cover deep threats.

Known Injuries: None.

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: A corner in college, Castille is too slow to play anything but a nickel back in the NFL. As such, most teams will want him to try his hand at safety so he can see the field as much as possible. He is good at reading plays and was used as a blitzer off the edge at Alabama, but he doesn’t get high marks for his tackling. While Simeon’s ability to potentially play both nickel corner and safety could be seen as a positive because he offers versatility, he will have to convince someone he can play one of those positions effectively if he wants to be a first-day selection.

Recent News:
Castille looked good during drills, but scouts may be wary of his below average 40 time, which was an alarming 4.70. He needs to show a better performance during his Pro Day.
