![]() Weaknesses: Played at a FCS school. Statline: Ran for 705 yards and a dozen touchdowns in 2007. Technique: Felton is more of an H-back than a traditional fullback because of his ability to run and catch the ball. He is a reliable blocker on running plays. Known Injuries: Had arthroscopic left knee surgery in February of 2007. Combine / Workout Assessment: Coming soon. Analysis: Felton isn’t the type of fullback you line up in the Power I, but an increasing number of teams are now looking for their fullback to be more of an H-back than pure blocker. This isn’t to say that he’s a poor blocker, but simply that it is not his calling card. Jerome’s skill set reminds many people of Garrett Mills, although the fact Felton spent his college years at a FCS school means that he’ll likely be picked much later than Mills, who went in the fourth round of the 2006 draft. The best-case scenario for Jerome is to be the next Brain Leonard, but it is more likely that he will be forced to earn his NFL paychecks on special teams. Recent News:
Scored 63 touchdowns in his college career for the Paladins. At 6-4, 246, has good speed (4.68). Of his 571 career carries, 241 of them resulted in first downs. Projected as a top-five fullback prospect, likely a late round selection.
