![]() Weaknesses: Questionable decision making under duress Statline: Four-year starter compiled 9,715 passing yards and 87 touchdowns at Michigan, but also threw 37 interceptions and completed less than 60 percent of his passes. Technique: Classic pocket passer with big arm. Known Injuries: Ankle, knee, and shoulder injuries cost him two games as a senior. Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON Analysis: As a four-year starter at a high-level program such as Michigan, Henne is most certainly battle-tested. However, he didn’t seem to improve much if at all after his freshman campaign, and due in part to injury his stats as a senior were the worst of his Wolverine career. He’s a shade short, which no doubt has contributed to his having 159 of 1,387 collegiate passes deflected or defended. His arm strength is good but he struggles with his accuracy and fares worse when under pressure. Ultimately, a guy with Henne’s physical skills and a four-year opportunity should have put together a more impressive body of work if he is to be expected to succeed at the NFL level. His moxie, experience, and tools will get him into an NFL camp, but he’ll have to improve his consistency—mechanics, footwork, accuracy, etc.—in order to become more than a clipboard holder on Sundays.
