Strengths: Size.
Weaknesses: Route Running.

Statline: Kelly finished 2007 with 49 catches for 821 yards and nine touchdowns.

Technique:
Malcolm utilizes his size and speed to be a downfield threat.

Known Injuries:
Suffered knee injury at 2007 Fiesta Bowl and a thigh injury at this year's Fiesta Bowl.

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: Malcolm, like most junior wideouts who declare for the draft, he would have benefited from another season of experience in college to refine his skills. As it stands, he still enters the draft as one of the top receivers available. This is thanks in large part to the fact his height makes him difficult to cover, especially in the red zone. He also has the speed to be a consistent homerun threat and good enough hands so that teams won’t worry about them. It probably won’t happen right away, but Kelly has the potential to be big-play wideout. That means he won’t have to wait too long to hear his name called by Roger Goodell.

Recent News:
In what became a trend....Kelly went to the Redskins with pick No. 51, making him the team's third pass catcher in three picks through the first two rounds.
Insight: Kelly was once viewed as the No. 1 receiver prospect, but disappointing workouts and an injury leave lingering questions. (Marc Pruitt/SportsBuff.com)
