3-Cone: NA
Vertical: 33.5

Strengths: Speed.
Weaknesses: Jones was never a feature back at Arkansas.

Statline: Felix ran 133 times for 1,162 yards, an average of 8.7 yards per carry, last season. He also scored 11 touchdowns.

Technique:
Jones is a wonderful open-field runner who excels when he can turn the corner.

Known Injuries: None.

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: Jones was incredibly productive at Arkansas as the backup to Darren McFadden, and his blazing speed caught the attention of college football fans and pro scouts alike. Even though spilt backfields have become all the rage in the NFL, teams will be suspect of Felix because he hasn’t proven he can handle the pounding and responsibility that comes with being his team’s feature back. Of course, the same thing was said about guys like Joseph Addai (LSU), Laurence Maroney ( Minnesota) and even Reggie Bush (USC) when they came out of school, and each of them went in the first round. If Felix follows in their footsteps and is chosen in the opening round, it will likely to be to a team that plans to use a committee approach this season.

Recent News:
The Dallas Cowboys select the Arkansas running back with the 22nd pick in the first round of Saturday's NFL Draft.
Insight: Jerry Jones got his Arkansas fix, and now the Cowboys have their compliment to Marion Barber III. Plus Felix Jones will help out the team's kick return game. (Michael Hicks/SportsBuff.com)
