Analysis: Every year there are a handful of small-school prospects who see their draft stock rise once scouts get to take a closer look at them. Rodgers-Cromartie looks to be one of those players thanks to his impressive size/speed combination and a strong performance at the Senior Bowl. Concerns will linger about the level of competition he faced while at Tennessee State, a member of the not-so-prestigious Ohio Valley Conference. His lack of experience against top competition and struggles against the run prove the youngster is far from a finished product, there is enough raw talent in his bones to justify an early pick, even in a class that has other excellent cornerback prospects.

Recent News:
The Arizona Cardinals, with the 16th selection in the first round of the NFL Draft, take the Tennessee State cornerback.
Insight: With Antrel Rolle moved to safety, the Cardinals needed a cornerback. The 6-foot-2, 182-pounder, who ran a 4.32 40 at the NFL Combine in February. (Michael Hicks/SportsBuff.com)
