Analysis: Andre has the size and arm strength that teams are looking for in a starting quarterback. And despite playing at a school known more for its basketball program, he received plenty of media attention (and scrutiny) in his senior season. The issue is that even though he put up eye-popping numbers, Andre again displayed the type of inconsistency that worries NFL scouts and heads of personnel departments. In a league that values potential so much, his natural tools will whet the pallet of enough teams to ensure that he doesn’t drop past the second round. However, he would benefit from some time as an understudy before becoming a starter.
