Strengths: Unusual agility and footwork for his size. Has quickness to defeat end rushers.
Weaknesses: Technique needs to be refined. Could add bulk to his frame.

Statline: Names to multiple All-American squads each of his three seasons at Boise State. Key member of line that paved way for an offense that ranked fifth in the nation in scoring and ninth in total offense.

Technique: Has ideal size and quickness for a left tackle at the pro level.

Known Injuries: None

Combine / Workout Assessment: COMING SOON

Analysis: Eschewing his senior season, Clady is set to become the first ever first-round pick in Boise State history. His unique combination of size and quickness projects him to be that rarest of commodities: a cornerstone left tackle entrusted to keep his quarterback’s blind side safe. Clady possesses plenty of natural strength but could still add bulk to his 6-6 frame, which might help him get a better push in run blocking. However, his quick feet allow him to get position on edge rushers and reach the second level in the ground game, so scouts won’t quibble if he’s a couple pounds light. About the only question mark on his resume is that Clady’s technique needs some refinement, but you’d be hard-pressed to find an NFL position coach unwilling to take the clay Clady presents and mold him into an elite left tackle. There’s no way he slides out of the first round, and with so many teams looking for help up front he could easily be gone midway through Round One.

Recent News:
The Denver Broncos selected the 6-foot-6, 310-pound Clady with the 12th pick in Saturday's NFL Draft.
Insight: Denver could've gone with a RB or defense here, but with the retirement of Matt Lepsis, the Broncos had a need on the O-line. Now they fill it with another Bronco, Boise State's Ryan Clady. Michael Hicks/SportsBuff.com)
